Vehicle Procurement Executive

About the Role
The Vehicle Procurement Specialist is responsible for managing global sourcing and procurement activities. This role plays a critical part in identifying new suppliers, negotiating competitive contracts, and ensuring the seamless purchase and delivery of vehicles for export. The specialist will strengthen supplier relationships, drive cost optimization, and align procurement strategies with company objectives.
Key Responsibilities
1. Global Sourcing & Supplier Management
Develop and implement global sourcing strategies aligned with company procurement needs.
Identify, qualify, and onboard new suppliers across international markets, focusing on price, quality, and reliability.
Build and maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure consistent and timely fulfillment of vehicle requirements.
2. Procurement Operations
Oversee end-to-end procurement activities from vehicle selection to final delivery.
Ensure procurement processes are efficient, cost-effective, and compliant with company standards.
3. Contracting & Negotiation
Negotiate pricing agreements, terms, and contracts with suppliers to secure favorable outcomes.
Ensure all agreements support long-term cost savings and operational performance.
4. Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with Sales, Operations, Logistics, and Finance teams to align procurement priorities with business goals.
Ensure seamless communication and coordination across departments.
5. Inventory & Performance Management
Manage inventory levels to support export business requirements.
Track procurement metrics such as cost savings, supplier performance, delivery timelines, and market trends.
Provide timely reports and insights to management.
6. Process Improvement
Lead improvement initiatives using process excellence frameworks (Lean/Six Sigma preferred).
Identify and execute projects that optimize procurement efficiency, cost, and performance.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or related field.
Minimum 3 years of experience in global procurement or vehicle sourcing (preferred).
Experience in international supplier management and contract negotiation.
